Maypole Removable Trailer Hitch Security Post MP9735

Instructions for MP9735 Removable Trailer Hitch Security Post

  • Dig a hole that is slightly deeper than the ground spigot (400 mm minimum).
  • The hole diameter should be a minimum of 200mm wide, but you should increase the width if the ground is soft.
  • Place a thin layer of gravel in the bottom of the hole.
  • Align the post centrally in the hole ensuring the lock and mounting assembly clears the surface; this is easily adjusted by adding or removing gravel.
  • Pour cement into the hole around the ground spigot, check post is vertical and brace accordingly until set.
