Granville Floor Paint is a single pack polyurethane modified alkyd resin based floor coating containing inorganic pigments and fillers in solution in white spirit. It has been specifically developed to provide a tough, long lasting and durable finish on concrete,metal and timber floors which are subject to light to medium wheeled traffic and medium to heavy foot traffic

Applications
As a coloured decorative finish for factory, warehouse and garage floors where there is light to medium rubber wheeled traffic or medium to heavy foot traffic.
Although Floor Paint is a single component system it exhibits extremely good oil, chemical and solvent resistance.
NB this product is NOT suitable for use in areas of high humidity such as showers or swimming pools etc.
Directions For Use
- Surfaces to be painted should be free from dirt, oil and grease all loose dust and other material should be swept off the surface prior to application.
- On previously coated floors the existing coating should be examined and any areas where it is loose or flaking should be thoroughly prepared and all traces of loose paint removed.
- New concrete floors should be allowed to fully cure before painting. Please allow at least 12 weeks. NB new concrete may be dry but not fully cured.
Paint Application
- Stir thoroughly before use.
- Apply a minimum of two coats by brush or roller.
- On porous surfaces an initial coat diluted with 25% white spirit should be applied and allowed to dry prior to applying the full coat (White Line Paint should not be diluted).
Brush
Apply product evenly by brush using multi-directional strokes to ensure adequate coverage of the substrate.
Roller
Use a short nap roller and apply the coating evenly, edges may need to be stripe coated by brush to ensure the substrate is completely coated.
Cleaning
Use white spirit to clean equipment before paint dries.
Drying
Drying/curing times will be shortened in higher temperatures, lengthening in lower temperatures. Inadequate ventilation will also affect drying/curing performance.
Make it Non Slip
A non-slip finish can be achieved by the addition of 250g Granville Anti-Slip Additive per 5L Floor Paint before painting
Coverage
When painting over old or power float finished concrete it may be necessary to carry out a trial to establish the suitability of the floor to accept the paint system. If there is any doubt concerning the adhesion of the paint to the concrete it may be necessary to use a concrete floor plane and then make sure that any dust resulting from this surface pre-treatment is removed before any painting is undertaken and then follow the procedure for painting new concrete.
